What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching is a process used to support an individual experiencing a problem or wanting to achieve goals to explore, evaluate and find their solutions and actions to either overcome their problem or to work towards their goals. The process I use is based on the belief that we all have all the resources we need within and around us to overcome our problems and take action towards our goals.
However, it’s easy to get stuck in particular thinking patterns and as a result we find that we’re doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results – Einstein’s definition of insanity!
Through coaching we break away from these patterns and what happens is that it opens up the mind to access better and more appropriate solutions.
Life Coaching is exactly that – a focus on whole life. We are not just our jobs, just our relationships, just a parent, just a health problem or just our finances. Everything in our life makes us who and what we are, as such understanding the support and limits other facets of life place on the problem/goal at hand is important in establishing effective solutions.
